Inspirational Vinyasa Yoga: Cultivating Balance, Flexibility and Strength
Inspirational Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga developed by Jennifer Schelter, Executive Director of Yoga Schelter and Founder of Yoga Unites.

Based on the tradition of Hatha yoga, Vinyasa is a Sanskirt word which means Vin (your own way), yasa (flow of energy). Flexible, balanced and strong bodies enjoy more vitality, health and fun in the aging process. And no one is escaping the aging process.

Jennifer Schelter’s Inspirational Vinyasa enhances your body by:

  • Energizing and strengthening your core
  • Developing Balance
  • Cultivating Alignment
  • Supportive Posture
  • Stretching and elongating muscle
  • Eliminating unnecessary pressure on bones and joints
  • Breathing properly
  • Cultivating a calm and centered mind frame
  • Developing mindfulness

To fully feel energized, peaceful and harmonious means practicing being inspired to love, practice, and cherish your body. Developing an inspirational Vinyasa yoga practice is the ultimate in self-care, longevity, and vitality.

Even 15 minutes of yoga a day can make a difference in your mood, physical posture, confidence and mindfulness about how you eat, think, use your energy and create your day.

Jennifer’s approach emphasizes your 3 Innate Powers:

  1. The power of generating “calm” and choosing to practice.
  2. The power of being in the mind-body conversation and process.
  3. The power of acknowledging affirmative progress and benefits.

Each class is a physical journey into the architecture and anatomy of your body as well as a mindful experience for mental health.

Clients report that practicing Inspirational Vinyasa yoga and working with Jennifer Schelter,

“…gets the burdens of life out. I’m less stressed because I know what my center is and practicing helps me feel what my priorities really are.”

“I feel better all over. Much calmer and more one with myself.”

“I healed a sad part of myself that I was scared to feel and now I feel better because I can FEEL.”

“I feel a relief, stretched and stronger.”

“I healed my back pain and I’ve lost weight.”

“I stand and have better posture.”

“I sleep the best on the days I do yoga with you!”

“I always feel lighter!”

"You have, at this moment, the possibility of empowering your mind-body and spirit, as your most precious possession. Use it or lose it. Cherish your spectacular body as you would an acre of diamonds. It’s the only acre of diamonds you get.” -Jennifer Schelter
